Ride the Rapids of the Könkämäeno River in Enontekiö, the most nothern parts of western Finish Lapland. During the 4-5 hours trip the guide will prepare a deliciuos picnic meal with coffee and snacks and you have a time out to enjoy the astonishing landscapes of the untouched wild nature.

The difficulty level is not as high as the one of the other trips. During the trip the guide will prepare a deliciuos picnic meal with coffee and snacks.

1 day salmon fishing trip - River Muonionjoki! (Salmon) Salmon and trout rise up the Tornio- Muonio River system, the border river between Finland and Sweden. The Muonio River also offers the possiblity to catch big grayling. Our salmon fishing locations are at Reponiemi 15km south from Muonio village (exellent for rowing) and Sonkamuotka 35km north from Muonio village (exellent for salmon rowing and exellent for salmon fly fishing if the water level is right). Notice! River Muonionjoki Salmon and trout fishing season: 1.6-31.8. (best time for salmon fishing in river Muonionjoki: 25.6-31.8). Other species (grayling, pike, perch) are allowed: 1.6-15.9 Salmon Fishing is not allowed from Sunday 7 pm to Monday 7 pm. At this time salmon are allowed to swim upstream in peace. Longer Fly fishing adventures!World Class Graylings! Probably the best grayling river in the world! "I have been fishing grayling in Northern Scandinavia for more than 20 years. During my fishing career I have visited many wonderful grayling rivers, but compared to any other river the Magic River is unique. In the northernmost reaches of Lapland, there's a river where the grayling grow really big. Every year dozens of grayling over 1 kg (2.2 lbs), the largest ones exceeding even +2 kg (+4.4 lbs) in weight, are caught there" The source of the river is located in the high fell range. The elevation of the primary headwater lake of the river is more than 600 meters above sea level. The river runs far away from any settlement, so it is a genuine wilderness river. Distance to the nearest road is about 35 km. This is the main reason why there has not been over-fishing in the river, and, consequently, the grayling have been able to attain trophy size. We have been naming the rapids of the river as 2100, 2000, 1930, 1850, 1780 etc., not by the length of the rapids, but by the weight (in grammes) of the largest grayling we have caught there. Arctic Char Extreme! If you have dreamed catching really large arctic char on fly. It can come true but you must follow us up to the Norwegian Mountain lakes. There swims much bigger arctic char than in rivers! REAL WILDERNESS waters. Here we have two lakes full of arctic chars. Here is also one lake where swim very fat graylings! We reach the area by ATV(Four Wheelers) and hotspots by canoe/boat. To some of the places we have to walk a distance of 0.5km-3.0km. Accommodation will be in a comfortable Lavvu. Kilpisjärvi Fishing Lodge! How you get good flyfishing waters and combined with fine dining, and comfortable accommodations? Using the lodge as a base, your guide will take you out on a different flyfishing spots each day. Wild Graylings, Trouts and Pike! Enjoy lunch on the river each day and at evening return to a comfortable lodge where hot sauna, and great food offer you a relaxed atmosphere. We reach the fishing spots by OFF-ROAD jeep and riverboat/rubber boat. To some of the places we have to walk a distance of 0.5km-2km.

You have to just a bring, flyfishing equipment, camera, outdoor clothing and very best smile :-) After your arrival at the airport we will go to the food shop and there you can buy your wilderness meals and drinks. Do It Yourself fly fishing adventure by off-road jeep - Finland, Enontekiö!Wilderness River Lätäseno (Map, Mukkakoski repids, Lätäseno!) (salmon, trout, grayling) or Mountain lake Vuontisjärvi and small grayling streams (Map, Mountain lake Vuontisjärvi!). (trophy grayling, pike) In the north side to the mountain lake Vuontisjärvi located the Kutukoski wilderness cabin. Cabin are easy to reach by boat. 7-10 km away from Kutukoski cabin is a really nice grayling and trout rivers (Vuontisjoki, Kaskasjoki and Toriseno -trophy grayling and trout). Quite easy terrain to hike. (Map, Toriseno and Kaskasjoki). We have also rubber boat and canoes in the Lake Ylimmäinen Vuontisjärvi and in the lake Alimmainen Vuontisjärvi. So, you can easy reach this point by the boat.
