1. Fly Fishing tour in Finnmark Norway

Mollisjok is a genuine mountai n lodge and one of the few that was not connected to the existing road network when these were built in Finnmark. The mountain lodge is literally in the middle of the Plateau, equidistant from Alta and Karasjok, 70 kilometres each way. 

Facilities The mountain lodge has recently been restored. Per Edvard and Randi have a total of 54 beds in 5 huts and rooms in the main building. They have a modern kitchen, sanitation, a lounge with a hearth and a dining room. The setup also has a sauna and a turf hut, or gamme. The gamme is used for smoking meat as well as an eating space for guests. At Mollis the focus is naturally on the cuisine of the Plateau, and they make the most delicious dishes from the resources right outside the door. In both summer and winter, trout, arctic charr and grayling, pike and perch are fished out of the Iesjokka, one of the best-stocked rivers in Finnmark. You are right in the middle of cloudberry and grouse country. These resources are reaped and often adorn Mollisjok aromatic table.

Example program:

1 day - Arrive. 

Arrive at Alta, Ivalo, Rovaniemi or Kittilä airport. Transfer to Finnmark in Norway. Arrived at a small Sami village Suosjärvi. Then we begin an exciting trip with a jeep. Over fells and rivers in the middle of wilderness and tundra. The trip over the fell lasts 2 hours (30km). We arrive at the tundra fell center. Welcome drinks, lunch and introduction to the programs and Sámi culture. Sauna and dinner. Night in cottage

2 day - Iesjohka River... Record grayling?

Breakfast and transfer by river boat (40minute) 15km up to river and we arrive in the world's most best grayling and trout fishing waters. All day we will fish grayling and trout. We spend night in tent (or cottage if weather is bad). Lunch and dinner are made by the open fire.

3 day - Change trout fly.

Brekfast. Today we try to catch big tundra trout! Lunch by the open fire. Evening we begin the journey back to the cottage. Sauna, dinner and night in cottage.

4 day - Be careful... There living monster pikes.

Breakfast. Today we go fishing in amazing tundra lake. We focus on grayling but there is also giant pikes (more than 10kg). Night in cottage. Lunch by the lake, dinner in the Cottage.  

5 day - Choose free. 

Breakfast. Today you can choose do you want to fish trout, perch, pike or grayling? Sauna. Night in cottage.

Breakfast. Today you can choose do you want to fish trout, perch, pike or grayling? Evening farefell dinner with your guides. Sauna. Night in cottage.

7 day - Back to home.

Breakfast. We start our journey with a jeep trough the tundra. Transfer to airport.

• Grayling record is 2.0 kilograms (most abundant, average weight 600-1100grammes!!). 
• Brown trout record is 6.1 kilograms.
• Char record is 4.4 kilograms.
• Pike record is 15.8 kilograms.
• Perch record is 2,1 kilograms.

Biggest caught grayling in Mollis is 3.2kg (C&R)!!

2. Helicopter Fly Fishing Trip in Finland | Magic River!

Probably the best big grayling river in the world!

"I have been fishing grayling in Northern Scandinavia for more than 20 years. During my fishing career I have visited many wonderful grayling rivers, but compared to any other river the Magic River is unique. In the northernmost reaches of Lapland, there's a river where the grayling grow really big. Every year dozens of grayling over 1 kg (2.2 lbs), the largest ones exceeding even 2 kg (4.4 lbs) in weight, are caught there"

The source of the river is located in the high fell range. The elevation of the primary headwater lake of the river is more than 600 meters above sea level. The river runs far away from any settlement, so it is a genuine wilderness river. Distance to the nearest road is about 35 km. This is the main reason why there has not been over-fishing in the river, and, consequently, the grayling have been able to attain trophy size. We have been naming the rapids of the river as 2100, 2000, 1930, 1850, 1780 etc., not by the length of the rapids, but by the weight (in grammes) of the largest grayling we have caught there.

1 day - Arrive.

Arrive at Kittilä airport and transfer to Kilpisjärvi (appox, 280km). Welcome drinks and short introduction to the programme. Accommodation in cottage or hotel. Sauna and dinner.

2 - 7 day - Helicopter fly fishing tour!

Breakfast and helicopter transfer far away of Wilderness and fishing adventure begis! During the trip our experienced fly fishing guides will share their knowledge of the best fishing places where fish are waiting to be caught. Ofcourse fly fishing is the main goal for the adventure but we don’t forget to enjoy nice arctic mountain views and wild nature with cup of coffee every now and then.

We spend nights in tent, warm teepee with heater or 4-5 person reindeerman cabin (depending you wishes and on the location in the Magic River). Lunch and dinner is served every day by the open fire or in cabin.

Afternoon on the day 7 helicopter picup us back to civilization and you have a sauna, and nice farewell dinner with your guides in hotel Kilpisjärvi!

8 day - Back to home.

Breakfast. Transfer to Kittilä airport (appox 280km) and return flight.

3. Fly Fishing Tour in Northwest Lapland - Muonio and Enontekiö!

The nature of Muonio and Enontekiö is expressive. We have a great number of large and small lakes with fish, hundreds of kilometers of rivers and streams, wilderness, fells and fertile soil for berries, roaring rapids and beutiful scenery. Arctic food culture is worth an Idea as well. Here you can taste and be fascinated by the traditional meals of Lappland, cooked from the clean and unique rawmaterials of the North, like: reindeer, game birds, various fish, wild mushrooms and berries.

Example program:

1 day - Arrive.

Arrive at Kittilä airport and transfer to Muonio (apporox, 80km), located in North Western Lapland. Welcome drinks and short introduction to the programme. Accommodation in cottage. Sauna and dinner.

2 day - Fishing trip with rubber boat.

Breakfast. Transfer to our fishing places in river Könkämäeno or river Muonio (depending on the water level). Fishing safari start.

On the fishing trip a raft (1-6 persons / raft) will take you cross the border and fishing will happen on both Sweden and Finnish side of the river. On this fishermen delight we will shoot down funny rapids but also enjoy calmer fish full waters. A experienced fishing guide will assist fishing and take you to the best locations. There graylings, and trouts, waiting to be caught. Whilst fishing a outdoor lunch with black pot coffee will be served by the real campfire. In the evening we arrive back to your cottage. Sauna and dinner.

3 day - River Lätäseno!

Breakfast. Transfer to Markkina village. Then we begin trip with river boat. After 1 hour we arrive one of the best salmon, grayling and trout rapids in river Lätäseno. Fishing begins. Lunch is served by the open fire. Late evening we start our journey back to Muonio. Dinner and sauna are waiting for us back in the village. Night in cottage.

4 day - Fly fishing in Sweden.

During the fourth day we will fish trout and grayling at the tundra lake in Sweden

Breakfast. Transfer to tundra lake in Sweden. During the fishing day we make lunch by the open fire and coffee, juice and pastries are served all day long. Evening we drive back to Muonio, sauna and dinner. Night in cottage. This program can also be arranged in the night if you want to try midnight sun fishing!

5 day - Salmon fly fishing or salmon rowing?

Today our salmon fishing guide shows the hottest salmon fishing spots and assist salmon fishing. Guide will share his knowledge. During the day our fishing guide cooks food on open fire. Dinner. Night in cottage.

6 day - Choose free.

Breakfast. Today you can choose do you want to fish trout, perch, pike or grayling? Evening farefell dinner with your guides. Sauna. Night in cottage.

7 day - Back to home.

Breakfast. Transfer to Kittilä airport and return flight.
